The 19th Team of the Week of the Canada Life Premier League campaign features three making their seasonal bow.

The trio of Ryan Gartland (Douglas Athletic), Tom Collister (Corinthians) and Johnny Holland (St John’s) feature in the latest hypothetical XI’s five-man midfield.

Gartland laid on three of Athletic’s five goals during the weekend’s 5-1 win over Ramsey, while Collister was the Whites driving force from midfield as Ayre were mauled 14-1 in Andreas.

Holland also shone in the Saints’ midfield engine room as the Johnners overcame Colby 2-0 in the westerners’ sixth away triumph of the season.

Joining the debutants in the line-up are Rushen’s Liam Cowin and St George’s wing wizard Chris Bass Jr.

Both were in action at Glencrutchery Road as the champions elect edged past the Spaniards 3-2 to move within three points of yet another Premier League crown.

Cowin was the Spaniards star turn as they came from two goals down to run his former club Geordies close.

Bass Jr lines up in the TotW for an eighth time this season after a Man of the Match performance against the Croit Lowey side.

The Geordies winger had a hand in all three of his side’s goals at the weekend, scoring twice to take his tally for the season to 22.

There’s plenty more goals in the TotW’s front two who scored 10 between them on Saturday.

Corinthians’ Sean Doyle grabbed the lion’s share of these netting seven times as the Ballafletcher outfit enjoyed their outing to the north.

Partnering Doyle in attack is Douglas Athletic’s Martin Cowan who struck a hat-trick as the Pinks cruised to a comfortable 5-1 win over Ramsey.

The three-man backline have made nine TotW appearances between them so far this season.

St Mary’s Karl Clark has made four of these alone. He picks his latest TotW stripes after a good performance as the Saints beat Union Mills 3-1 to keep alive their hopes of finishing second.

Will Miller also shone in that match at Garey Mooar earning his third TotW outing of the season in the process.

Completing the TotW’s defence is St John’s Nick Leung.

The United man helped his side keep a clean sheet as they beat Colby 2-0 at the Station Fields.

Goalkeeping honours this week go to St George’s stopper Andy Perry who made some important saves to help his side to three points.

Referee of the Week is Peter Greenhill who impressed with the whistle as Corinthians overwhelmed Ayre.
