Beach Buddies will head south this weekend to clean up at Scarlett and Pooill Vaaish.
This will be a return visit for the charity which was last there just three weeks ago however regular volunteer Tony Glen has said there is still a considerable amount of rubbish to be collected from the coves and gullies in the area. Last time the volunteers collected nearly 50 sacks mainly of plastic.
The plan is to complete the clean up in that area before the start of the bird nesting season.
All equipment will be provided and all rubbish taken away and recycled where possible. Volunteers are being asked to follow the directions for parking to avoid causing any obstruction in the farmyard.
The session is tomorrow (Sunday February 5) starting at 10.30am
