The popular scouts’ Gang Show is making a return visit to the Isle of Man 50 years after a similar show was first staged here.
The Birkenhead Gang Show, comprising sketches, songs dance and jokes, will feature a cast of 70 and a crew of 30 and a further 14 cast and 12 crew from the island will swell their numbers for the island show. The shows raise money for the children’s charity CRY and Cancer Research UK and tickets costing £15 or £10 are available from the Sea Terminal or Villagaiety box office.
Performances take place at 2pm and 7pm on Friday February 24, at the Gaiety Theatre. The matinee will be attended by the island’s Lieutenant Governor and his wife, Sir Richard and Lady Gozney as well as Douglas Mayor John Skinner.
