S100 HELP: Moddey Dhoo Motorcycle Club giving a cheque to S100s helicopter fund

THE Moddey Dhoo Motorcycle Club has once again shown its generous side, presenting the Southern 100 Helicopter Fund with cheques amounting to £875.

The money raised by the members and friends of the club has been raised over the past year and donated in memory of Dennis Barlow.

Appropriately, Barbara Barlow, Dennis’s wife presented the cheques to Southern 100 Club President Derek Nicholson at the George Hotel in Castletown.

The Southern 100 Club are extremely grateful to all involved with the Moddey Dhoo Motorcycle Club for their continued support.

The donation will go towards the cost of providing the essential Emergency Helicopter at the Southern 100 in 2013, which will be held between July 8 and 11.

The Moddey Dhoo is an Island based motorcycle club, originally based in Peel, and named after the black dog in Peel Castle.

They raise a lot of money for charity and have their own regular runs around the island. As with all bikers they also enjoy the social scene with the odd pint or two included! They also have their own website www.moddeydhoomcc.co.uk.
