THE news that 2011’s TT attracted 37,700 visitors, which was an increase of 21.7 per cent from 2010, truly represents how good the motorbike racing really is.
This year’s TT was by far the best, with amazing coverage of the racing on ITV 4 and Radio TT every day.
The racing was, however, a little disrupted on Senior Race Day and in Race Week but I thought that it was extremely well organised to get the races back on the road.
When the final race kicked off at 5.15pm, it was certainly worth waiting for!
The event generated around £1.3 million of commercial income, which is a large amount of money generated for the Isle of Man economy.
Let’s hope 2012 TT racing is just as successful!
