ALBUM: Shack - Time Machine
REMEMBER Shack's greatest hits? No, me neither. But their 'best of' collection is out on Monday.
Their string of hits — if we are to call them that — included Comedy in the years following their formation in 1988.
In actual fact, none of the singles Shack released made the top 40 and I was scratching my head when the preview CD landed on my doorstep.
But one of their fans happens to be a certain Noel Gallagher, who enthused about them during the formative Oasis years. And now he wants to give the world a second chance by releasing Time Machine through his own record label, Big Brother Recordings.
All their best stuff is brought together here in one place and, coming with recommendations from The Zutons and The Coral, now might be the chance to give Shack a serious listen.
