Novel talk tonight (Tuesday)

THE Literary Society’s 2012/13 programme gets under way this evening with a talk by John du Cane on Writing A First Novel.

After a lifetime in aviation and public service Mr du Cane published his first novel earlier this year. The Cry of the Jets is an historical novel of the RAF set during the Cold War.

Meetings of the Society are held in the upstairs Drawing Room, Jabberwocky, Duke Street, Douglas. The room will be open at 7pm and the talk will start at 7.30pm.
