A four-year-old girl remains 'stable' in Noble's Hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a car in Peel at the weekend.
Police inquiries are continuing into the collision which took place at about 2.05pm on Saturday (February 6) on Marine Parade, opposite the skate park.

Officers from the roads policing unit say the child, who is from Douglas, was struck by a slow moving blue coloured Citroen Xsara car being driven by a 33-year-old man from Douglas.

Police would like to speak to anyone who remembers seeing the blue Citroen car or witnessed the collision, or who was in the area of Marine Parade between the hours of 1.30pm and 2.20pm.

Anyone who has information about this incident should contact police headquarters on 631212 or ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
