HOLLYWOOD heartthrob Patrick Swayze says he finds the Isle of Man a 'magical place'.
The Dirty Dancing Star is filming with the cream of British talent in the Island for the making of Keeping Mum.

The move also stars Dame Maggie Smith, comic legend Rowan Atkinson, Kirsten Scott Thomas and American heartthrob Patrick Swayze, is filming in the Island until March 26.

Patrick, who starred in Dirty Dancing and Ghost, is enjoying his first visit to the Island.

He said: 'I love it. It is a magical place and people have been really nice.'

Is it acceptable for the DHSS to ask Tynwald to shore up a £8.5m overspend in its budget, due to increased activity at Noble’s, more patient referrals to the UK, children in care, more unemployment and expensive drugs, reduced NHI receipts?
Yes. If health chiefs have worked out this money needs to be spent then it must be found.
No. Health chiefs should be providing a top quality service without such a large overspend.
I don’t mind this time, the reasons for the overspend appear to stack up.
