FOUR sets of parents had an extra special reason to celebrate Christmas this year.
Samuel Paul Fargher, son of Lisa McGarrigle and Paul Fargher, of Onchan, was the first baby to be born at the Jane Crookall maternity ward at Noble's Hospital on Christmas Day. He entered the world at 11.14am.

The other Christmas Day babies were Amelie Corlett, daughter of Lisa Cooper and Graham Corlett, of Douglas; Matthew Kermeen, son of Rebecca Black and Gary Kermeen, of Ramsey; plus a girl born at 11.21pm, to parents Sharon Canning and David Skillen, of Douglas, who has yet to be named.
