High winds force temporary road closure in Onchan

POLICE closed off part of Main Road in Onchan because of the risk of high winds blowing materials off the Hartford Homes building site.
The road was shut between the junctions with Avondale Road and the top of Royal Avenue.

However, workers have been able to secure the materials and the road has now open again.
