THE winners of the 14th Shoprite Clubmann £100 voucher draw have been chosen.
They are: Lynn Elven from Peel; Edna Callow from St Marks; Gary Kewley from Onchan; Anne Quirk from Peel; Michelle Quinn from Peel; Brenda Davenport from Sulby; Robert Carter from Ramsey; Catherine Bywater from Baldwin; Peter Thomson from Port St Mary; and Andrew Race from Kirk Michael.

Also announced this week were the winners of November's £250 Christmas grocery shopping draw.

The lucky few given a festive boost are: Ray Brown from Douglas; Elizabeth Gardner from Baldrine; Eileen Heaney from Onchan; Alison Mort from Colby; Gill Blake from Colby; Alan Huxham from Ramsey; Alex Rothwell-Heskith from Laxey; Albert Winckle from Marown; Janet Busby from Douglas; and Barry Curran from Ramsey.

UK chain Pets at Home is poised to open a megastore at an industrial park after Local Government Minister John Shimmin overturned a decision by planners to refuse permission for two massive retail units out of town. Should it be allowed to set up here?
Yes. It's only a case of fair competition and there's nothing wrong with that.
No. It will hit other established businesses and appears to go against previous government policy on out of town retail.
Not sure. Have no objection to Pets at Home but think the government needs to establish a clearer policy on out of town retail.
