BOSTON Limited has announced the appointment of Ali Stennett to its board of directors.

Ali will advise new and existing clients on international structuring matters, as well as taking responsibility for business development.

Ali brings a wealth of experience with him to the new position.

He is a chartered tax advisor and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Having graduated from St Andrews University, he then joined KPMG on their graduate scheme in 1999.

Ali trained, qualified and worked with KPMG in London before moving to the Isle of Man in 2006, where he worked as a director for SMP Accounting and Tax up until taking his new position with Boston.

He lives in Maughold with his wife and three children.

Ali said: ‘I am delighted to be appointed to the Board of Boston at a very exciting time for the company.

‘Boston is very ambitious and I am looking forward to being involved in the next phase of its strategic plan.

‘It is already clear that client service is at the core of the business and that we strive to deliver outstanding service to help our clients grow, sustain or pass on their wealth.

‘I have been really impressed by the quality and the friendliness of the existing people at Boston, as well as the desire to attract the best talent in the market place.

‘I look forward to working with chief executive officer Greg Ellison and the rest of the team to help grow Boston’s family office services and fiduciary business.’

Boston is an independent and privately owned financial services group based in the Isle of Man, which provides a range of family and fiduciary services to local and international ultra-high net worth individuals.

Greg Ellison said: ‘Ali has an outstanding reputation and track record and we are delighted to have hired him to work for us at Boston.

Boston was founded in 2002.
