Since starting out as a new business seven years ago Manx Business Solutions (MBS) appear to have overcome many of the challenges that typically face a new start-up company; including the worse financial recession in living memory.
In doing so they have successfully grown their business on an annual basis for the past seven consecutive years; resulting in a growing list of international clients and their recent move to new purpose built premises on the Tromode Estate.
Ten staff are employed by the company.
Rupert Leaton is managing director and joint owner with his wife Julie.
Mr Leaton said: ‘We recognised about 18 months ago that we were rapidly outgrowing our premises in Onchan and that we needed to start planning ahead.
‘After reviewing our options we made the decision to go for a new build within the Tromode Estate.
‘The excellent support extended to us by both the Clucas Group PLC., and building contractors JCK meant we had an opportunity to help define the final layout.
‘This added significantly to our excellent build experience; whilst helping to ensure it was right for our requirements.
‘Since deciding upon our new premises, we have been appointed a Ricoh dealership and with it a significant contract for new copiers to one of the island’s leading banks.
‘The addition of this new dealership has highlighted how timely our decision to move has been.’
Throughout the office move, the business has continued to experience significant growth.
A major part of this success is attributed to the level of expertise MBS hold for supply and support of Laserfiche Document Management software. This has been a significant factor in the MBS success story, propelling the business onto the international stage as it advises and supports a growing list of international clients around the world.
