EXPERIENCED Roy Hall, a well-known name in the Manx motor trade, believes his latest offer is simply electric.
Two years ago Business News reported how Liverpool-born Mr Hall had bought UK franchise Neva Vehicle Leasing and Contract Hire.
We reported how Mr Hall, who has lived in the island for many years, was doing all he could to acquaint the Manx public with the advantages of doing business with him.
Based from his office in Drinkwater Street, Douglas, Mr Hall has announced a new ‘green-friendly’ electric car is available for contract hire.
It is the Peugeot iON electric car and Mr Hall is hoping the business community will latch on.
Mr Hall realised that although contract hire was well established in the UK it was something of a relatively new concept in the Isle of Man.
‘I am trying to educate people about what it offers,’ Mr Hall told Business News when he launched his business.
He is hailing the arrival of the Peugeot iON as a great value ‘green’ car with fixed costs.
He said it was similar to hiring a car only in this case it is done with a contract, usually for three years.
Mr Hall began his career as a mechanic and later went on to run Japan Direct.
