LESLEY Corlett has joined Barclays in the island as a vice president and head of compliance.

Lesley will provide regulatory advice and guidance to all business segments operating in the Isle of Man as part of the UK and offshore islands teams.

Lesley joins Barclays Wealth and Investment Management from Kleinwort Benson where she was head of Isle of Man compliance and operational risk and money laundering reporting officer (MLRO).

Prior to this Lesley was the head of offshore compliance at Close Bank and head of compliance and operational risk international at Nedgroup.

Lesley said: ‘The size and breadth of Barclays operations which encompass a wide range of local and international products and services brings a huge amount of variety to our work within the compliance team which is greatly rewarding.’

Managing director at Barclays Isle of Man Simon Scott said: ‘We’re delighted to welcome Lesley as a valuable addition to our team.
