THE ICM Group has renamed its company and Trust department to better reflect what it does for its clients.

The department is now known as ICM Wealth Management.

Since 1984, as licensed company Inter-Continental Management Limited, it provided a variety of company and trust structures across a number of sectors, including real estate, intellectual property, trading and more recently, space.

Head of the newly-named ICM Wealth, Kim Dent, said that with a growing number of staff in the team and a new focus, it seemed appropriate to choose a new name.

Kim said: ‘It is an exciting time for us. Although the economic climate has been and continues to be challenging, we have seen business grow over the last few months and have had to recruit as a result.

‘As a team, we have a wealth of experience in the establishment and management of simple and complex company and trust structures for clients, their families and advisers.

‘We focus very much on understanding exactly what their needs are and work closely with them to come up with the best solutions for their particular situation and requirements.

‘We believe we really do offer a bespoke service.’ ICM Wealth Management is a business name of Inter-Continental Management Limited which is licensed by the Financial Supervision Commission of the Isle of Man.

Working within a regulated environment with ‘high calibre’ staff provides clients with the reassurance that the management and administration of their companies and trusts will be of a high quality and standard.

Kim said the proactive business environment in the Isle of Man is key to how ICM Wealth operates:

She said: ‘The Isle of Man is a serious jurisdiction for doing business.

‘The stability of the government here and the focus they have on listening to the private sector means we have a voice in terms of new corporate products and services. The new Manx Foundation is a perfect example of this. This is a versatile vehicle for wealth management, succession planning, forced heirship planning and ongoing future business planning, developed in response to feedback from the business sector.’

ICM Wealth Managament works closely with ICM (UK) Limited, based in London, which provides UK structures and corporate administration services to an international clientele.
