PAUL Tipton, president of the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry, renowed UK dental expert, international lecturer and specialist in prosthodontics – has started work in the Isle of Man at Tracey Bell’s operation in Kensington Road, Douglas.
Dr Tipton said: ‘In the UK I had many patients from the Isle of Man visiting my Manchester and UK practices – purely because a restorative specialist was not available on island.
‘After treating patients for many years in the UK, the Isle of Man is an ideal base to consult and treat Isle of Man and UK residents.
‘My speciality involves all types of cosmetic dentistry, dental implants and restorative problems, such as wear, teeth grinding and full mouth restoration.
‘I have based myself at a full serviced facility, Tracey Bell Kensington Road and will accept patients by self-referral themselves, referral by their dentists, or other medical professionals for treatment or guidance and second opinions.
‘At present, missing teeth and replacement with implants so called “All on 4” is a new service I aim to introduce to the island – to help more patients with chronic gum disease, loose, missing teeth, or simply teeth that are failing.’
