The government is seeking undergraduates to participate in the 2016 STEP Programme, which places students with local companies to undertake an eight week project during their summer break.

The 2015 STEP programme saw 38 students complete a range of projects including creative, manufacturing, marketing and quality assurance.

The programme is open to all local second and penultimate year undergraduate students who are on a full time degree.

STEP used to stand for Shell Technology Enterprise Programme.

When Shell stopped sponsoring it, the acronym was retained.
