SUE MacGregor has been appointed head of the business banking team for Barclays Wealth in the Isle of Man.
With 25 years of corporate banking experience spanning all industry sectors, Sue worked in numerous jurisdictions before first locating to the island in 1997.
Following a move to London in 2005 she settled back in the Isle of Man to join Barclays Wealth in November 2009.
Since joining Barclays Wealth, Sue has specialised in working with clients from across the institutional funds sector, locally and in London.
While Sue retains some of this responsibility, her new role broadens her remit to include other industry sectors and the management of a team offering a full range of banking services to both international and locally based business clients.
Sue said: ‘I am thrilled to be starting in my new role within Barclays Wealth, building on my experience and specialisms, working to further develop the Isle of Man-based team and further promote the breadth of banking services to both international and Island business clients.’
Corporate head Stuart Nelson said: ‘This is a new role we have created in response to the ongoing growth we have achieved over the past three years. It’s great to have someone of Sue’s calibre and experience in this new role. She will undoubtedly add further value to the business banking team and their offering to clients both on and off island.’
