Lieutenant Governor Adam Wood will pay a visit to Peel Commissioners and be given a tour of the town.
At the Peel Commissioners’ meeting earlier this month the commissioners discussed possible places of interest to take Mr Wood.
The governor will be making his visit on Thursday, January 26.
Discussion of the proposed intinerary, after the initial greeting of Mr Wood at the Town Hall, included a visit to Peel Clothworkers’ Primary School, Leece Museum in East Quay and possibly a walk around the castle and a visit to the Transport Museum in Mill Road.
The governor has already paid a visit to the parish of German.
