Laptop stolen from church

Have your say

POLICE are investigating a burglary at a church in the north of the island.

Some time between July 2 and 9, a 125-year-old stained glass window in the vestry of St Olave’s Church, Bowring Road, Ramsey, was forced open, the thief leaned in and stole a laptop computer, used by the church to create its own literature and magazines.

The laptop, which is a glossy black Samsung R700 with a 17-inch screen, was in full view at the time and, with this in mind, the police remind people about the danger of leaving valuables on display.

If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of the laptop or suspect they may have been sold it unsuspectingly, contact Constable Sam Cannell at Ramsey Police station on 812234.
