The Southern postal delivery office will be in a new home from next week and will provide customers with an extended range of postal services.
From Tuesday, August 27, the office will move a short distance to new premises (directed by new signage), still within the Ronaldsway Industrial Estate, Ballasalla.
The office has a new customer counter with improved choice of services including sale of stamps, posting parcels and other mail, ReDirect and KeepSafe as well as the collection of mail.
The new office also gives staff a more spacious and ergonomic working environment with improved welfare facilities.
Malcolm MacPherson, Isle of Man Post Office’s managing director of Mails, said: ‘The new delivery office is just a small step away from the old premises, but it does allow us to make improvements for customers and employees alike and to look toward our long-term business needs.
‘I would like to thank all those members of staff and contractors who have made this move possible and I’m delighted we will be moving in on schedule.’
The Southern postal delivery office is open six days a week: Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 3.30pm and Saturdays from 7.30am to 12.30pm, phone on 698571.
