Half-term workshops start

YOUNGSTERS are being urged to get along to the Manx Museum this half-term for the ‘Forgotten Kingdom’ workshops, where they can paint their own Lewis chess pieces, write illuminated lettering and follow the exhibition trail.

The workshops will take place daily from tomorrow (Tuesday) until Friday in two sessions, 10am to 11.30am and 1pm to 2.30pm.

Tickets are £3.50 and available from the Manx Museum Shop.

The original Chronicles are currently on display at the Manx Museum until March 9 along with six of the intricately carved Lewis Chess pieces.
