Wanted: Memories of Ashley Hill School

ASHLEY Hill Primary School was officially opened on November 9 1972, so the school will be 40 years old next month.

A birthday celebration looking at the passing decades and to celebrate school events in the past is being planned.

The school would like people to share their memories and photos, which the school says it would look after and display in the hall during the birthday week.

In addition, past pupils are invited to visit school during the birthday week and look at the birthday celebration results and reminisce with today’s pupils. Former staff will also be welcome to attend.

For an invitation to the celebrations at 2pm on November 7, phone head teacher Linda Smith on 622104 or email enquiries(at)ashleyhill.sch.im.
