A continental food and craft fair proving popular with Manx residents last week.

It took place along Castle Street and Marina Road in Douglas.

On sale was ostrich, impala, wild boar, paella, specialist coffees and teas and a whole host of other food products from around the world, along with handicrafts from Peru, plants, shrubs and bulbs from Holland and Fairtrade furniture and decorative items.

In tandem with the fair, local traders opened stalls in Tower House.

In addition, during its first weekend, the Manx Craft Guild were in the Strand Centre and artisan markets set up stall in Douglas Market Hall.
