Health chiefs want to spend up to £3.2million upgrading information technology at Noble’s Hospital.

The Department of Health and Social Care will next month seek Tynwald approval to spend the money.

The existing system, called Medway, was implemented in 2007 and is now ‘approaching the end of its lifecycle’, the department says.

More on this story in the Isle of Man Examiner on Tuesday.
