Noble’s Hospital benefited recently when they were presented with three new pieces of equipment for use in the operating theatre.

The tourniquet machines were bought for the hospital by the League of Friends of Noble’s Hospital at a total cost of £9,973.

The machines are already in use and allow surgeons to isolate a limb by preventing blood flow to it when they are conducting an operation.

The new tourniquet machines are already in use and are less bulky than their replacements and have more built in safety features.
