STAFF at Marks & Spencer, in Douglas, raised nearly £8,000 for Victim Support in memory of former colleague, Jamie Haslett.
Jamie died at the age of 19 after he was hit by a police patrol car in Sheffield, where he was a student. Staff, along with Jamie’s family, named Victim Support as charity of the year for 2011-12.
Victim Support manager Paula Gelling said: ‘We are extremely grateful for the hard work and support of all the staff at M&S to raise so much money for Victim Support. I would also like to express my thanks to Jamie’s family for their ongoing support.’
