Amy Sellors, of Port Erin, celebrated her 11th birthday by giving to children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. Instead of presents, she asked friends to make a donation to Rebecca House children’s hospice. She is pictured presenting £130 to Terri Cook of Hospice.
Amy wanted to help as her grandmother Anne Sellors worked in Noble’s Hospital’s special care baby unit for more than 20 years, and later joined Hospice at Home, looking after children to give parents some respite.
Mum Kay said: ‘My husband and I were both extremely proud of her for this act of generosity and for thinking of others over herself.’
