The number of people out of work in the island has fallen slightly.
It’s the sixth month in a row that the unemployment figure has dropped.
At the end of September there were 1,022 on the register, six fewer than a month earlier.
During the month, 325 signed on and 331 signed off. The number of men out of work is 706. There are 316 women.
There were 603 vacancies at the JobCentre notified during the month and, at the end of the month, 393 positions remained on file.
The Isle of Man’s official unemployment rate is 2.3 per cent. The UK’s is 7.7 per cent.
There were 1,014 out of work at the end of September 2012.
