The 10th Bra Dashes raised thousands of pounds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

In Douglas, stars of the show were The Boob Sleigh Girls, who were more than ready to take on the twisting run.

It wasn’t just humans that showed their support either – even a dog donned a pink bra.

Fastest dasher was again Adam Boyd. Best young dasher was Alex Denning, and best dressed dasher with an automated Breakthrough Jackpot machine was Jackie Turley.

About 30 people took part in the Castletown Dash, organised by the Castletown Ale Drinkers’ Society. Best dressed was Mike Vinton as the Queen, who along with Jed Clayton raised more than £500 alone. Fastest was Joseph Reid, while Linda Moore was the fastest female. Abbie Hampton and Yasmin Dale were best children, and the team award went to Canada Life.

About £2,000 was raised at the Peel Dash. Alex Denning was fastest, Folt Bane hairdressers won best team, Laila Paradise was best child, and June Bell and Betty Moore were best dressed adults.

Ramsey’s Dash, taken at a more leisurely walk, raised £960. Mariella Pollard and Anna Tramontana won best children.

Breakthrough’s Isle of Man branch chairman Angie Aire thanked Lloyds Bank, Shoprite, 3FM and all the dashers and supporters.
