Two men will appear in court today following the seizure of cannabis worth £110,000.
A 45-year-old man from Port Erin and a 24-year-old from Douglas were arrested when they arrived by sailing boat at Port St Mary harbour yesterday (Thursday).
Detective Sergeant Paul Holland said: ‘Persons involved in drug importation have numerous methods of importing controlled drugs into the Isle of Man.
‘We continue to work closely with Customs and Excise to protect our borders and to ensure the safety of the Island community.
‘Again, my message to anyone that deals in drugs or is involved in bringing drugs to the Isle of Man is: be prepared to get caught and spend a long time in prison.’
