Castletown - south’s crime hot spot
Castletown is top of the list of crime hot spots in the south said commissioners’ clerk Eddie Convery.
He said the town heads the list for crime, vandalism and minor assault. ‘We always seem to be top,’ he said.
‘The police have a 39 per cent detection rate, but there is a bit in the pipe line and they hope that will rise to 50 per cent.’
