A service to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday will take place at St German’s Cathedral in Peel on Sunday, starting at 3pm.

The event is open to all to attend and take part in the tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, who as Lord of Mann is the island’s Head of State.

Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney will provide the opening remarks in appreciation of the Queen’s lifetime of service.

The congregation will be joined in prayer by young people from Manx schools.
