Changes to Registry Office opening hours

CHANGES to the opening hours of the courts public counter and the Douglas Civil Registry Office have been announced.

From Wednesday January 2, the opening hours for both the Civil Registry Office and the courts public counter – where payments are made and documents lodged – will be 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 9.30am to 4pm on Fridays. Telephone payments for fixed penalties, maintenance and court fines can be made by calling 686423 during the revised opening times and fixed penalties can be paid at Post Office counters. The Civil Registry office will not be open on Saturday for registration services, though weddings and civil partnership ceremonies continue.
