Church collection box theft

A THIEF took the collection money from Maughold Church between 2pm on Wednesday and 10.45am the next day.

The cash was taken from a donation box inside the entrance to the church.

Constable Jenny Groves said: ‘It is not believed that a high value was stolen but this is a particularly contemptible theft. Accordingly, anyone with information is asked to contact at Ramsey police station on 812234 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.’
