Consultant urologist at Noble’s Hospital Stephen Upsdell will be at the first of the Isle of Man Cancer Service Users’ Forum meetings for the new year.

This will be a return visit for Mr Upsdell, who will be presenting information about cancers of the urinary tract, which include prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular cancers. He will discuss different types of treatments and how these have changed in recent years.

The meeting is on Monday, January 20, at 7.30pm at Douglas Golf Club in Pulrose. The meetings are free to attend and parking is plentiful. The group’s second meeting of the year will be at the end of March when the guest speaker will be consultant gynaecologist at Noble’s Bob Fayle. The forum invites consultants to do regular presentations and during the next year will cover most of the most common cancers.

For further information on the meetings or forum call Julie Stokes on 484950.
