The government has spent thousands on it but it’s already broken down.

The diesel locomotive, which was brought to the island from America recently, has been hit by engine problems.

The story is in this week’s Isle of Man Examiner.

The front page also includes Chief Minister Allan Bell’s comments about the toilet tax.

Last week, the story was on the front page of the Manx Independent and there has been a petition set up about the issue.

Inside the paper, we reveal that electricity prices are set to go up and mark the end of the Glen Helen Inn’s time as a pub.

The paper also has the latest on the teacher accused of rape and features a report on a man who was jailed after he refused to leave a pub.

Inside, we have Business Word, our 16-page business features special, which looks at the island’s shipping register and how local companies are fighting the onslaught of the internet.

With action-packed sport, our lively letter, and another part in our series of features about Viking rule, the Examiner is the best way to get up to date with everything that’s going on in the Isle of Man.

The paper is in the shops now.
