CHILDREN at Ballacottier primary school in Farmhill enjoyed an Easter eggs-travaganza earlier this week.

They called on their artistic talents and decorated Easter eggs in a variety of imaginative ways and their efforts were then displayed at the end of the day in the school hall.

The event was supported by the Isle of Man supermarket chain Shoprite and a well known manufacturer donated a batch of their Creme Eggs to the school to mark the event.

Staff at the school said the children had greatly enjoyed their creative endeavours – almost as much as they enjoyed the Easter eggs.
