Former commissioner Arran Kaighin remanded in custody

FORMER Peel Commissioner Arran Ernest Kaighin has been remanded in custody by Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes until October 12.

Mr Kaighin, 44, of Douglas Street, Peel, appeared via live link from Jurby prison on Tuesday.

He is charged with seven offences of possessing, making or publishing indecent images of children between January 2010 and August 2012.
