FT supplement cost us £64,000

A SUPPLEMENT in the Financial Times entitled Doing Business in the Isle of Man cost £64,000.

But Chief Minister Allan Bell MHK told Tynwald he believed the supplement delivered good value for the island as a whole.

Replying to a question from Kate Beecroft (Lib Van, Douglas South), Mr Bell said the £64,000 cost of the supplement, which was published in the FT on November 15, had come from the marketing initiatives fund,

He said it showcased the strength and diversity of the Manx economy and demonstrated government’s commitment to working in partnership with the private sector.
