Getting back to normal after last night’s deluge
The island’s roads are returning to normal after the heavy rainfall last night.
During the night a number roads on the island were affected by the heavy rainfall and had to be closed or were described as impassable due to flooding and landslide issues.
They are now all open.
However, police are warning about large puddles on roads which can be quite deep.
They’re advising motorists to take extra care.
More rain is expected from late afternoon.
The five roads listed below are still closed due to the last week’s snow fall and will be reviewed at noon on Monday.
1. The Mountain Road between Lheaney Road, Ramsey, and the Creg-ny-Baa
2. The Beinn-y-Phott Road between Barregarrow and the junction at Brandywell on the Mountain Road
3. The Injebreck / West Baldwin Road
4. The Tholt-y-will Road
5. The Druidale Road
