THE famed Silverdale gnomes will be on display again — after being discovered living full and happy lives in the depths of the Cregg Mill — when Silverdale café reopens its doors at Easter.
The unique and endearing characters have been loved by many generations of visitors to the glen.
The team at Silverdale hope to gather photographs, film footage, stories or newspaper articles showing years gone by at Silverdale for a display.
Anyone with anything to contribute — such as people sitting on the Victorian carousel or falling into the boating lake — should contact Kay, on 230747/823474, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The caf will be open from Good Friday and throughout the Easter holidays from 10am to 5pm.
