Police want to trace a group of teenagers believed to have made two hoax 999 calls from a telephone box at School Hill, Castletown.

Officers called to deal with the ‘incident’ on Sunday night were told six teenage lads had been spotted messing around in the phone box. A pane of glass had also been damaged. Police say such hoax calls are ‘downright dangerous’. They want to identify the lads, last seen heading towards the lane leading to Arbory Road.

Anybody with information should contact Constable Robin Arnold on 832222.
