A VERITABLE Aladdin’s cave of biking books, pictures, clothing and other memorabilia is poised in the wings ready for its starring role in Friday’s Hogg Auction.

An annual event since the early 1990s, the event draws bidders island wide and beyond as well as raising valuable funds for the Hogg charity which funds medical support to racing and rallying events.

Shaun Hogg has been labelling and sorting out the lots ready for the event: ‘It’s really overwhelming,’ he said.

Guests on the night include Conor Cummins, Dan Kneen and Dave Molyneux.

Among many star items is a painting by Paul Parker of former TT competitor Steve Hislop. The auction is at the Palace Hotel on Friday February 22, 7,30pm for 8pm. Call 427771, or 617873 for tickets or buy on the door.
