How will sea front development hit horse trams?

Douglas Council has considered a planning application for the first phase of improvements on Douglas sea front has been submitted.

The plans being considered relate to the highway between the Sea Terminal and the Royal Bank of Scotland building at Peveril Square on Loch Promenade. The plan encompasses the junctions at Victoria Street and Walpole Avenue as well as the car park and footpaths around the front of the sea terminal building. Councillors have asked for the effects on the horse tram service to be clarified.
