Injured TT fan is being treated in the UK

A motorcyclist is being treated in the hospital in the UK after a collision yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).

The incident happened at 1.55pm and involved two motorcycles and a car.

It happened at Hailwood Rise on the Mountain Road, near the Brandywell junction.

The hurt rider’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening at this time.

The road remained closed from the time of the incident until the TT road closure at 5pm.

Constable David Schumacher, who was the first officer to attend the scene, passed on his thanks to the members of the public who assisted in rendering first aid to the injured rider.
