Inquest into motorcyclist’s death to open on Monday

The inquest into the death of a motorcyclist who was killed in an accident last week is to be opened on Monday.

Neil Walker, a 43-year-old father of two from Ramsey, died on August 6 near Bulgham rocks between the Dhoon and Laxey.

Mr Walker was well known through his work as a joiner and as a retained fireman.

The opening of an inquest is usually a short procedure that takes place some time before the full inquest, which tries to establish the facts surrounding a death.
