Energy giant DONG’s plans for an extension to its Walney wind farm in the Irish Sea will go on public display this week.
The company has applied for planning consent for the development of up to 207 turbines measuring up to 222m high, 31km south east of the island.
The exhibition takes place on Thursday from 1pm to 7pm at the Villa Marina’s promenade suite.
A spokesman said senior members of the project team will be available to answer any questions and procurement professionals will be present to discuss potential supply chain opportunities with attendees.
It follows similar meetings in Heysham and Barrow-in-Furness.
